Workshop AM - March 9th - 10.30-12.30

Sgraffito workshop hosted by Murtle and Thyme.

Workshop Description:

Sgraffito is the art of scratching through a slip or underglaze on green ware (unfired pottery) to reveal the surface underneath creating your design in the contrast of the two. 

Each attendee will be decorating a handmade, Murtle and Thyme mug, painted in a black underglaze, ready for carving.

The workshop is inclusive of all materials and firing. I will bring a selection of glaze swatches so each person can choose a colour for their mug to be finished in. 

Collection will be from the workshop location in around a month/6 weeks and I will let everyone know once they are out of the kiln. 

Times:

Please arrive at 10.15am for a 10.30am start and the duration of the workshop is two hours.
